Martindale method is a kind of plain wear method, which is widely used in the abrasion test of clothing, home textiles, decorative fabrics and furniture fabrics.

When it comes to our carpet tiles, its wear resistance reaches 300,000 Martindale, which can be parallel to that of ceramic tiles etc.

Durability

Traditional carpets are often prone to edge breakage and thread hanging, while our carpet tiles don’t have these kinds of problems at all.

Our carpet tile is composed of high-density nylon fibers implanted vertically in the substrate, which to some extent will increase the lifespan of each carpet tile and reduce routine maintenance costs and labor.

Usually, fibers on the very surface of our upholstery fabric and carpet tiles will automatically return to normal state when heavy objects are removed on top of them. If not, you can use a hair dryer to get rid of pressure marks. Yet the latter is not recommended.

Easy to clean

There are obvious structural differences between traditional carpets and our carpets.

The surfaces of Ambrosia upholstery fabric and Kalista carpet tile are very flat and smooth, so dust, stains, and even ink marks are just stay on its surface. When cleaning, just use vacuum cleaner and do not require any chemical cleaning. If necessary, follow our cleaning instruction manual.

Flame retardant

Ambrosia and Kalista has passed the B1 level fire protection standard for buildings in China and NFPA701, BS585 and FAA fire standards in the United States.

Water resistance

Among many features, one is water resistance. Our products are behaving like lotus leaves. Just think about that. When liquid or water splashes onto its surface, it will just roll on its surface and will not go into the fibers, wipe water droplets off from fabric or tile surfaces. For large-scale splashing, it is recommended to use a dry/wet vacuum cleaner. Unlike traditional carpets, Kalista back-padding base do not absorb water.

Sound absorption

Our carpet tile is implanted with approximately 700 million fibers per square meter. When sound encounters carpets, its waves are evenly distributed across fibers which will significantly reduce it. Its working principle is similar to the shock absorption effect. The dense carpet fibers can improve the sound absorption, thereby creating a quieter and more comfortable environment. Easy to install

The back-padding of our carpet tiles is smoother and can cater to the contours of most floors.
